Risk warning
Mutual fund schemes invest in securities whose value can fall as well as rise. You can lose part or all of your investment. Scheme returns depend on market conditions and the fund's strategy. Each scheme's riskometer shows its risk level. Please read the Scheme Information Document (SID), Key Information Memorandum (KIM) and Statement of Additional Information (SAI) before investing.
How we are paid
We are paid commission by Asset Management Companies for the schemes we distribute. The commission is paid out of the scheme's expense ratio; you do not pay it to us separately. Commission rates differ between schemes and can change. We disclose commissions and will share scheme-wise details on request. This means we may earn more from some schemes than others, which is why we explain our recommendations in terms of your goals and the scheme's risks and costs.
Direct and Regular plans
Each scheme offers a Direct plan (no distributor commission, lower expense ratio) and a Regular plan (includes distributor commission). We distribute Regular plans. You are free to invest in Direct plans on your own. See our comparison.
Making payments safely
- Pay only by cheque or electronic transfer in favour of the mutual fund scheme, or through recognised platforms such as the AMC website, MFCentral or MFU.
- Never make payments to an individual's or distributor's personal bank account, and never hand over cash.
- Your units are held in your name (or in your demat account) and you will receive confirmation and statements from the fund house or its registrar.
- Never share your OTP, PIN or net-banking credentials with anyone, including us.
